About this piece

"You have permission. To make choices, to fail, take detours , try new things, discover yourself — and see what happens."

Ice Bubbles was made over two years of constant change — layer after layer put down, reworked, and rebuilt. The process was never about arrival. It was about what I learned along the way: that there are no mistakes. Only discoveries. You can see every single one of them still living in the surface of this painting.

This print is for you — if you know what it is to be in between. Between who you were and who you're becoming. You walk past it in the morning and feel something settle — a calm knowing, an excitement for what's ahead.

I hope you find courage to crack out of your shell.— Harriette
